Jack  Thomson

Jack is a British dancer who trained at The Hammond Lower School and then continued his studies at 'The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance'. In 2012 he attended the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive where he had the opportunity to work with Jean Emile and performed his work 'Bamedeliya' in New York City.

Whilst in training he has also danced work by Robert Cohan, Robert North, August Bournonville and Botis Seva. In addition he also performed Mark Baldwin’s ‘Rite of Spring’ as a curtain raiser for Rambert Dance Company’s 2013 triple bill at Sadler’s Wells and since was a feature dancer in award winning opera 'The Indian Queen', choreographed by New York based choreographer, Christopher Williams (2015).

Jack was an original cast member of Inala and had the the opportunity to perform excerpts of the show at the Royal Variety Performance (2014).

Jack also has a keen interest in dance and fashion photography and regularly brings these two worlds together in his work.
