Robert James Bridger

Robert comes from Wiltshire and started dancing at Swindon Dance on the CAT Scheme, Youth Dance Academy (Centre of Advanced Training), where he worked with Adrienne Hart, Yael Flexer and was a dancer for Laïla Diallo’s residency at Dartington Hall. He then went on to continue his training at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. At Rambert he had the opportunity to work with Christopher Bruce CBE, Mark Baldwin and Dr Ross McKim (Moving Visions). Robert is creatively interested in collaboration and danced for Street Stories, a project between the Royal Opera House and East London Dance. He was a selected choreographer for Young Creatives, YDE where his work was premiered at The Linbury Theatre, Covent Garden. Robert performed in Design for Dance, a collaboration with Central Saint Martins at The Platform Theatre. Most recently Robert danced at the 19th International Solo Dance Theatre Festival in Stuttgart, Germany; the solo Cleft choreographed by Simone Wurtz.
