[LBM's] voices soaring out as never before is a thing of stirring beauty. If the ecstatic first-night reception is anything to go by it will be a massive hit.

Inala is a project that has been put together with a great deal of affection. Conceived in 2009 by composer Ella Spira and Royal Ballet dancer Pietra Mello-Pittman (aka Sisters Grimm), choreographed by Rambert Dance Company artistic director Mark Baldwin, and danced by a scratch troupe of 11 (featuring dancers from both those companies, along with several freelances), it is also a collaboration with the South African male choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo with which Paul Simon famously worked on his 1986 album, Graceland.
